Brent Blackburn joined Kinberg & Associates, LLC as an associate in September, 2003. A nearly lifelong resident of Brevard County, Florida, Mr. Blackburn graduated from Melbourne’s Eau Gallie High School as class Valedictorian in 1986. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from the College of William & Mary in 1990 and a Juris Doctor degree from Emory University School of Law in 1993.
Mr. Blackburn’s areas of practice with Kinberg & Associates, LLC, include government and commercial contracts, construction law and litigation, employment law and commercial litigation. In this capacity, Mr. Blackburn handles both construction and non-construction contract payment disputes, contract negotiations, issues related to business start-up and incorporation, trademarks and trademark litigation, copyrights and business partnership disputes. Mr. Blackburn also advises clients regarding business contracts, such as non-competition, confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements for businesses, and welcomes the opportunity to work closely with clients tailoring contracts and other agreements to meet their specific needs.
Prior to joining Kinberg & Associates, LLC, Mr. Blackburn practiced primarily employment and labor law and social security disability claims.
Mr. Blackburn is a member of both the Florida Bar and Brevard County Bar Association. |
